The Historic Southwest Neighborhood Association is located in one
of Rochester's oldest neighborhoods and is as old as the city itself.
Given its close proximity to the downtown we have a unique mix of
residential homes, small community businesses, and larger businesses.
Our entire neighborhood is within walking distance of these businesses
and Rochester's largest employer, the Mayo Clinic. With the mix of small
and large homes, unique architecture, mature trees, parks and store
fronts, our neighborhood offers the advantages of urban living without
the constraints normally associated with it.
